Dr. Fobian is the Director of the FND Treatment Clinic at UAB, in which she and other psychologists, Drs. Brittney Randolph and Amy Knight, and physical, occupational and speech therapists from UAB’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Services collaborate to treat adults diagnosed with FND. Jamie Wade, MS, SLP-CCC, MSHA, LSSGB, Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, and Russ Gannon, PT, Outpatient Therapy Operations manager, serve as Clinic Leadership.
Pediatric Somatic Symptom Disorders Treatment Clinic
Dr. Fobian is also the Director of the Pediatric Somatic Symptom Disorders Treatment Clinic in which she treats children and adolescents with FND, chronic pain, and other somatic symptoms. The clinic uses evidence-based cognitive behavioral interventions focused on non-pharmacological management of physical symptoms and addressing related functional deficits.
